The RTM Maya children's life vest is designed for sheltered waters. It packs in 100 Newtons of buoyancy, coupled with a foam packed collar, whistle, crotch strap, full length zipper, two adjustable straps and sturdy buckles.
Ideal for flat water Kayaking, Canoeing, Boating and Paddle Boarding, these buoyancy aids are filled with polyurethane foam with a mega hardwearing 420 denier nylon outer fabric.
What size do I need?
The RTM Maya children's life vest are designed deliver 100 Newtons of float, so the optimal size is dependent on their weight.

How to wear
Slip on the life vest like a normal jacket, taking care to put the buckles to the front. Zip up the jacket, then secure the buckles and adjust the chest and hip straps so that the jacket doesn't slide up if you fall in the water. Finally, secure the crotch strap and adjust for comfort.
A well adjusted life jacket should remain in place if the wearer falls into the water.
Rinse the jacket with soapy water after each use (salt water is corrosive). Leave to dry on a coat hanger in a warm, ventilated room, out of the sun. Do not dry near a heat source. Do not machine wash.
